All gliders counted. The preliminary scores are in progress and will be published in a minute on www.soaringspot.com The winner today is Sebastian (PL), followed by Petr (PX) on the second place and LK (Lubor) on third place.

The start line has been opened just recently at 14:25. Just before a few seconds Extra 300 aerobatic plane paint beautiful smoke start line for visitors. Now all piolots except Tomas (SI), who is not flying today, compete to take the win today.

New task has been set due to weather development. There are beautiful clouds south and east and no clouds to the north. New task reflects this fact and almost 150km long. There is a lot to see here on the airshow and it will be even more if the gliders will take off.

The sixth competition day has started similar way comparing to the day before. Dark skies indicated some problems with weather so the morning preparations were quite slow. Due to weather development the first briefing was held later than usually at 12:00. At that time it was possible to confirm the intentions to fly. After explanation of weather situation task was presented. The course has been set to the north with two turn points. Total lenght slightly exceeded 166km. The take offs begun at 13:00 and all gliders remained airborne despite high clouds over and south of the field. On the other hand the situation to the north was much more different. There were good soaring conditions with climbs up to 3m/s and cloud base higher by 300m. That was good message for all pilots who were flying this direction after openning of the start gate. As other days we have followed flight tracks on the screen and spend a nice time discussing the different tactics taken by the pilots. In the end we found that the task has been little short, but nobody would imagine that even during launching. The winner of the day was Andy (WO) who overtook Sebastian (PL) on the short final. Then Rasmus (71) came on third position soon. After a while there have been a bunch of the gliders comming. The time differences between them have been very small. This was again another exciting show for all of us on the ground. For tomorrow there are still three pilots who can take a lead so we are looking forward for tomorrow. The task will be part of the airshow program if the weather permits that. In any case we try to take a chance to show our beautiful sport to the public. CU tomorrow.
