CZ (Ivan) reported that he abandoned the task and is close to the field as well. We do not have information about 71 (Rasmus). He has no engine he has not reported outlanding so far.

RP (Piotr) landed back to Nitra and not completed the task. PL (Sebastian) landed in field south of Nitra. We are wery pesimistic now with regard to possibility to have a valid competition day. PX (Petr K.) and MV (Vytautas M.) just reported south of the field, but after use of the engine.

Few other outlandings: WK (Wojciech) and LK (Lubor) after engine use back to Nitra. LI (Jan), SV (Vytautas S.) and WO (Andy) landed at Airport Surany.

ZB (Zdzislaw) landed back after he used engine in the South. SI (Tomas) landed just after TP Surany.

Some pilots already reported aproaching TP Surany. This leg is quite hards due to not so good weather conditions and head wind of 12kts.

We have few other outlandings: LF (Mila) landed after the first TP close to Partizanske airport and 10 (Bronek) with BO (Olli) and 7D (Maros) had used their engines in the same area. This proofs that conditions there were marginal.

Gliders are passing abeam Nitra airport on the way to TP Surany. Few CU clouds here is geting this task more reasonable to complete today.

The weather conditions are difficult today. One glider RZ (Petr) returned after use of the engine in the vicinity of the first Turn Point. Others are on their way to the South along the Vtacnik mountians just before the jump to the flat land.

The gliders are some 40km out to the first Turn Point Cigel and report climbs less than 1m/s and tops at 1200m above see level. This is caused by Cs clouds in that area, but the clouds should move out soon.

Big disapointment :o( The Online Tracking will not be online today. The trackers will record correctly but SIM card PIN code restriction caused that we can only send the tracks after the flight. Hope our technicians will solve the problem for tomorrow.

The gliders are circlin above the airfield above start altitude limit. 15min, 10min and 5min call have been done already.

Just done recently. The organisers announced the start will be open at 14:05 with altitude limit 1000m above mean seal level.

The last take off is in progress now. The glider is WK (Wojciech) behing Turbo Cmelak so we expect the director will announce opening of the Start line in a few minutes.

The first glider PX (Petr) just took off followed by CZ (Ivan) both in tow behind Turbo Cmelaks.

The final postponement of the take offs to 13:15. The sniffer reported slightly more than 1m/s at 950m MSL.

The weather does not develop as expected, because the temperature is rising slower than normally should. Therefore we had to postpone the first launch to 13:00. With that regard we had to change task to B version with little modification of first TP to Cigel and second TP to Surany airport. The total lenght has changed to 235km. Now the new task is distrubuted. The sniffer (our DG-1000T) is in the air to check the termals. The last report was less then 1m/s :o(

Now we are after briefing. We explained the weather and set the task. Weather today is similar to yesterday with weaker wind. Therefore we expect similar cross country speed as yesterday. The task is set to the mountains and flat land as well. The first TP is some 75 km North and then pilots will continue the flight to the South. The first launch is expected at 12:00. We confirm or change that 15 before the time.

The briefing is as usually at 10:00. The weather looks promissing. According the latest weather information the cold front should not reach our area before the late evening. Grid is open from the 09:00 and some gliders are already ready to be towed there via the weighing point where we will check glider maximum take off mass. Runway 15 today with crosswing expected during all the day.
