The weather conditions were the best so far with a cloud base close to 1300 meters msl and climb rates of about 1-3 meters per second. For all pilots the start and the following first 30 km were extremely hard, but later on the situation improved due to more sun and less high level cirrus clouds.Because of the proper task setting, three legs could be seen from the ground by the spectators. They had a chance to see the real race between the pilots. There were 15 pilots who were able to complete the task with the speed finish. Finally, Christoph Matkowski wins before the slovakian pilot Pavol Cerny after getting penalties because he underflow the finish line by 25 meters. Seconds later Petr Setka crossed the finish line placing 3rd. Although the rain started as forecasted, precisely at 8 o´clock pm, all pilots are now waiting for another racing day tomorrow.
