You did not even have to be physically present at the airport to absorb the news about flying in Nitra. Yesterday training day made 25 gliders test the spring air – and successfully – some 300 km were declared. Pribina Cup, traditionally blessed by excellent weather conditions any season, woke up into freezy morning, camping and trailers covered with snow. Around 9 am everything changed into sunny day… but the promise was very short-term. Strong, more than 10m/s cross-wind spoiled the visions and 11:00 briefing just confirmed what everybody was already sure about – we have to devote this day to administration and preparations. Get your gliders ready, we are just about to start!
