Organisers, pilots,teams and even involved spectators were observing the weather development since yesterday afternoon, trying to predict or discover any little possible window where we could launch the gliders. The Day 3 morning did show that this wil not happen real. Even bigger trouble caused the whole-night-long rain that turned the runway into one singe sponge. Plus a strong wind. No, we are not magicians this year. Vladimir announced the Day 1 winners at the briefing. OPEN class finally did not gain a valid competition day, after taking penalties and handicap indexes into consideration, there were not enough pilots reaching 100km minimum distance. Healso introduced the previsions for the next day. A light of hope shines there. Has to. We still have a lot of work to be done. Most of the crowd found another activity out of the airport, out of Nitra. We all meet back here tomorrow to see what will be offered from the sky.
