Almost all gliders are in the air. We can still hear the engines of turbo Cmelaks towing the last ones. There are only few cumulus clouds on the south, but there is a wonderful line of cumulus starting at Zobor continuing to the north where the tasks are set. We wish all pilots safe flights.

It is after the briefing and the predictions for today seem very possitive. The weather is influneced by the high pressure area spreading over Nitra from the north. The sun is shining and we might expect cumulus clouds that will dry out during the afternoon on the lowlands. Therefore the tasks are aimed mainly to the northern hills. Rare light showers might occur around Prievidza. The task for the club class is 280,8 km long, 15M class received the task with its distance of 347,5km. 20M 2-Seats got 329,3km and the longest task for the opens, almost 400km. The wind is not significant and it might change the direction in the afternoon. Despite that the runway for both take offs and landings is 15. Launching is planned for 11:30 LOC.

It´s really beautiful outside and everybody is excited for today´s flight. Runway in use is 15. Briefing is as usual, at 10am.

Finally! No clouds, no rain, no wind. Just the sun shines and the clear sky above Nitra. What a beautiful morning.
