Task setting faux-pas day !

Encouraged by yesterday´s weather task setters saw a great chance for a long task. Well, 500 to 700km was obviously way too much. The weather was not as good as predicted and there were areas with a very weak conditions. Eventhough cumulus appeared above mountains very early pilots had difficulties around Nitra and therefore the starts needed to be postponed. Less time for the task which was that long made a huge difference. Cloud bases were high, but there were also the weak areas and some pilots experienced even rain.

There was only one pilot was able to complete the task. Congratulation EY:)Others either outlanded or returned back to Nitra knowing that there is no chance for them to finish the task.

The bar is not crowded as usual at the moment. No need to wonder. Many many pilots have still not come from the field and some are just  tired after a long day.

Tomorrow will be hopefully better. Taking not only about the weather but also about proper task setting ;) But for all pilots, great job you fly well!
