The radio frequecy got calm. Unfortunately the weather was not as good as the forecast was what resulted in many outlandings. Couple of gliders still missing.

Landings just started. Meanwhile a high-level cirrus clouds began to cover our area which could complicate the situation for still flying competitors.

 6/8 of cumulus clouds above the airport with cloudbase reported in 2000m alt. Many gliders just set out across the country.

 A few relaunches had to be done during the procedure and two gliders stay down on the ground waiting for better conditions. Others are doing their job up in the sky.

 It is shortly after today's briefing where our metman Ivan confirmed good thermal conditions with cloud bases in 1800 m altitude and thermals up to 4 m/s. Racing tasks are set between 240 and 340 km long. First start expected at 11:30 am.

Weather forecast looks promising for today. Our area is influenced by high-pressure ridge therefore good thermal conditions with cumulus clouds are expected. But again as yesterday - strong wind would be a complication. More details about the weather by Ivan at briefing.
