Day 5, Tuesday

Today was one of those days when no one knows what the weather is going to do in 60 minutes. There were some good weather conditions as well as absolutely no flying conditions around our area. Unfortunately at noon and couple hours later we were not able to start the launching procedure. We had been looking at cumulus clouds developing in the north-west of the airfield but the airmass was moving towards east and not towards us to bring us more sunshine. Later in the afternoon some pilots did some non-competitions starts. As I know they had got some difficulties after their starts but when they reached the good weather about 20km northern of Nitra they enjoyed their flights. About 3m/s reported up to 8000ft QNH above Velka Fatra mountains. Hope we will be more lucky tomorrow :)

Day 4, Monday

There were not many people before the Briefing believing we could fly but our metman Ivan was sure about it. And fortunately he was right again :) Thick layer of clouds started to weak right at the noon a we started the launch procedure at 1pm with changed Task variants to B. The weather got better and better during the day a we could enjoy the arrivals of competitors in bulk. Beautiful third competition day is over and we are looking forward to the next one :)
