A few gliders have returned home from each class after completing their tasks. There is a local storm 10 km south of the airfield, so the pilots have been forced to fly around it.

DAILY SUMMARY

2025-04-25

The 7th competition day started with the grid opening on Runway 33 amid tricky weather conditions. The task setter planned racing tasks south of Nitra, with distances ranging from 132 km to 194 km. The first launch took place at noon, and shortly after, all gliders were airborne, ready to start the race.

Pilots faced a local storm about 10 km south of the airfield, requiring them to navigate carefully around it. Despite a couple of outlandings reported, most competitors stayed in the air, battling to complete their tasks. By mid-afternoon, our local hero ZS was the first one returning home after finishing task, which granted him a day win. Furthermore more gliders started returning home after finishing their tasks, and by late afternoon, all gliders were accounted for. Importantly, valid competition days were confirmed for both the Open and Club classes.
