Landings are beeing in progress. Bunch of gliders on 10K. The sky is almost cloudless and the wind is dying now.

First gliders have already landed home. Unfortunately same outlandings have been reported as well. We can see on glidernet that most of competitors are in the south - south-east from Nitra.

Everybody is in the air. The weather looks very promising. Also it is a bit warmer on the ground ;-)

So once again :) The weather conditions are suitable for gliding today, the sky is clear, cumulus clouds with cloud bases of 2000m are expected with rises 2-3m/s. Wind is strong now, increasing with the altitude, but should slow down during the afternoon. Thermal activity should be dying out around 5pm.

Therefore RACING TASKS for all classes with range from 250km for club class to 330 for open class.

First launch is planned for 11:30 so be ready. And do not forget: fly safely, watch out and enjoy the race!

Short weather update: Ridge of high pressure is expanding over our area from south-west/south that shold enable us to compete today. The sky is clearly blue. Maximum daily temperature expected is 11-14°C. Moderate gusty wind should slowly decrease. We expect cumulus clouds usable for thermal flying. Precipitations are not expected.
