Second Racing Day
Luckily, this time the meteorologist Ivan was right:) At the beginning, the weather did not look much different than yesterday, warm and dry air with no clouds. But it turned out to be better, as he promised. We could see it already shortly after launches. Not much relaunches, pretty nice climbs, gaggles circling high above the airfield. Around Nitra there were blue thermals, but in the north-east part few cumulus clouds had appeared with really nice ceiling up to 3000m. Climbs differed from 2 to 4 m/s, some were pretty strong and stable. Weaker wind also helped. Fortunately, cirrus clouds did not appeared till later evening. According to the pilots, tasks were aimed nicely and many of them really enjoyed the flight. Overall speed on the task was more than 100km/h in all classes. We hope you had a nice flight and we are looking forward tomorrow.
