It seems like the weather conditions are pretty good even withouth cumulus clouds because pilots are pretty fast. Club class is already above Low Tatras, Open class is heading towards Jelsava. Check glidernet for more info. At the airport the atmosphere is nice and friendly, people are just chilling and enjoying the nice and warm weather.

It is shortly after the briefing and tasks are set. Racing task for all classes with the distance from 317 km for the club class to 386 for the open class. First launch is planned for 11:30.
The weather is expected to be a little bit better than yesterday over the mountains and east of Nitra. Therefore we aimed tasks to those parts. The air is still very dry, drier in the southern part of Slovakia. No cumulus clouds around Nitra are expected, but on the north and east the weatherman promised some Cu (again :) with the cloud base up to 3000m. Wind should be weaker as well. During the later afternoon some cirrus clouds will appear comming from the north. So lets see how it goes.
