The sky is cloudly, but it is quite warm outside so many pilots decided to do some sport activities. Both voleyball and tenis fields are being played on. Others are watching the live tracking from Grand Prix that is being played in the bar. The weather there looks much nicer, many cumulus clouds are visible on the webcam. The task is therefore a bit longer, 225km.

Cancelled Day!

Due to the worsening weather situation the organizators decided to cancel today. The frontal system is approaching and there was no hope for flying.

The briefing is almost over. A short prezentation about the EGC 2013  is taking place at the moment. The area of Slovakia is currently located in the middle of two low pressure areas. The air is still very unstable and wet. The weather conditions is expected to worsen during the day due to the coming of the low pressure area with all of its frontal system from the Adriatic Sea. Even thunderstorms might occur  later in the afternoon therefore make sure to secure your gliders. The development of the situation will be monitored. There is no grid until further notice. The decision about the task will be announced befor 1 pm.
