Despite the expectation of the coming front today´s task were very well planned.

During the morning hours some clouds were present but they disappeared with the first sun shines. Launching started soon, at 11:30 so the pilots have enought time for the set tasks. The tasks were aimed mostly to the south which was a good decision.

First final glides started around 4pm and there were just few outlandings reported. The front came around 5pm and all the gliders were already home. Some made it just in time. The problem for the pilots was the strong wind increasing with the coming front and made it a bit difficult. After seeing the final results we were very pleased. In the open class the winner reached 132km speed which is more than good. The highest speed achieved in club class was also more than satisfying.

This day was very succesfull and there is just one more ahead of us. We hope the weather will be sufficient enough for a small task at least. We are all looking forward to the pricegiving ceremony and the afterparty that is prepared for all of us.
